Friends for Animals is a 503(c)(3) non-profit organization devoted to protecting the lives of dogs and cats that have been surrendered to us by their owners for re-homing. Friends for Animals has to raise all of our funds through adoption fees, membership fees, applied-for grants, fund raisers and private donations. We are a NO-KILL shelter. Once placed into our care, these surrendered animals are with us until they are adopted. They leave us healthy with all vaccinations up to date, heart worm tested, flea and worm treatments, spaded or neutered. Our population varies daily, however, during 2024 we successfully adopted 426 dogs and 346 cats for a total of 772 pets who found their furever home. Friends for Animals strives to provide a loving and safe home for all the animals until their forever home is found.
